The Rock Restaurant

The Rock Restaurant is a unique, exclusive restaurant located on a rock in front of Michamvi Pingwe beach on the south-east coast of Zanzibar. With a simple, local island style decor, the restaurant specializes in seafood and local flavors, and plays an important role in supporting the local fishing and farming community.

The restaurant is committed to being environmentally conscious and welcomes couples and groups of up to 20, with reservations required. The open-air terrace offers a romantic setting for pre and post-meal drinks, and is also available for private events. The restaurant is accessible by foot at low tide and by boat at high tide, with complimentary boat rides offered for added romance.
